Melbourne 2030
Melbourne 2030 is a management strategy set by the Victorian State Government to minimize negative impacts of urbanisation and increase positive impacts. This has been active since 2001 and will continue until 2030 (hence the name). The aim of this was to have more public transport; increasing public transport and losing more private transport to have it more spread out in the CBD. The goal of this is to maintain the reputation of the most livable and friendly city in the world.
